After meeting with your guide, your tour kicks off from the sacred Acropolis Hill. With our expert tour guide by your side, you will learn everything about the monumental buildings of the Acropolis, including the divine Parthenon, the Temple of Nike, the Propylea and the sacred Erechtheion.

 Descending the Acropolis Hill, hop on your luxury vehicle and start your city tour across Athens' most important monuments, including the Roman Forum and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Continue then to marvel the open, horse shoe-shaped “Panathinaiko” Stadium, which was the venue of the first Modern Olympic Games in 1896 and dip your toes into Athens of the 18th and 19th century by visiting the Athenian Trilogy. We’ll take you to see up close, the Changing of the Presidential Guards, known also as the “Evzones” in front of the Greek Parliament in Syntagma Square. We will later visit Plaka, Athens old Town, where the city's heart used to beat for nearly 25 years since the end of World War II and during the early 1950s until late 1960s.

After the hustle and bustle of the city’s center, it's the perfect timing for a gastronomic tour in the famed Mediterranean cuisine, which will definitely satisfy your senses. Your guide will be able to make great restaurant recommendations, but please let us know in case you'd like us to make reservations beforehand.

Post Covid 19 Policy:

Vehicles will be sanitized before every pick up. Hands sanitizing done before departure and after every major stop. Pick up and drop off is included from all centrally located Athens hotels and apartments. Just inform us during the booking of the hotel you are staying at, or apartment address. If the hotel /apartment is not accessible (e.g narrowness, pedestrian area) we will appoint a nearby meeting point for picking you up. You will receive an email or text msg from us with the exact pick up time the day before the start of the tour.

What should I bring with me?

Since your visit includes a fair bit of walking, uphill the Acropolis, it is recommended that you

• Wear light hiking shoes or comfortable, rubber sole shoes
• During the summer months, bring along with you a hat, sun glasses, sunscreen and wear light-colored clothing
• Waterproof jacket/membrane (for the rainy days)
• Your own personal water bottle. As part of our environmental policy and actions, we are committed to eliminating the use of plastic water bottles.
• Prepare yourself for an exciting experience & bring along your camera so you can capture panoramic photos of the Greek Capital!

Can you pick us up from our hotel?

We offer a pick-up, free of charge, for hotels or apartments that are located in downtown Athens. For hotels or apartments outside city’s center we offer pick-ups with a 10% discount of the usual fair. Please send us an inquiry!

Is it difficult for older people to follow the group?

Not at all! The tour is private and totally customized to your needs. Should you chose so, you will be assigned an excellent, flexible guide and the walk will follow a moderate pace, in order to be a pleasant experience for everyone. We will also make several stops to admire and discuss the fascinating monuments and sites along our way.

Is it child friendly?

Very much so! How Athens obtained its name? Kids will learn about the Myth of the duel between Goddess Athena and the mighty God of the sea, Poseidon, atop the rock of Acropolis with a very precious prize. The tales of the Greek mythology will make this tour an unforgettable experience for your little ones!

Is it available as a shore excursion?
